That world was never meant for me.

Oh, but it is. Nobody should have to live caged all their lives, unable to experience the rest of the world in its full glory & beauty.

Twas this realization that spurned a young child to escape the life they'd always known & dreaded, and pulled them onto a path that would shake the land at its core.

In Silver Lining, you play as Ser, a young child who has spent all their time trapped in a strange facility, under the thumb of sorcerers who only saw them as a tool & a living experiment. With the help of their closest friend, a strange doll named Uo, and the bell which the child treasures above all else, Ser will break free of both the physical & invisible chains that bind them to this cage, and discover the outside world that they dream of so often.

Learn about the realm alongside the child...and, perhaps, even save it.

Do what you can, do what you desire...and maybe, one day, you'll find your way to your home.

Gameplay/Features

-A world filled with unique places to explore, people to meet, and legends & stories to uncover & unravel.

-A story about "home", and about what "home" really means.

-A unique spin on the weapon system for our dear protagonist.

-Side content which builds upon the story of the world. Each sidequest is important!

-A simple turn-based battle system...though that isn't to say it'll be easy.

-And, perhaps, the most important feature: an animal to pet in every town. Yes, I mean every. Town.

In the current build of the game, you'll meet:

Ser: A young child imprisoned by sorcerers for as long as they've been alive...or so they can surmise, at least. Their most prized possession is the bell they hold. (They/Them, Class: Child...?)

Uo: A strange living doll, and Ser's closest (and, in truth, only) friend. Though a bit foulmouthed and rough, he cares for Ser above all else in the world. (He/Him, Class: Doll)

Lulicia: A mysterious spirit. Anything further is classified. (She/Her, Class: ???)

Horea: A beastfolk hunter who lives in a small forest on the continent of Briebar. They often go to the nearby village to sell the spoils of his hunting trips. (He/They, Class: Hunter)
